OUR WINDING JOURNEY

The Old Boise Model Railroad Club was founded back in 2001. The layout is an N-scale railroad whose scale is 1:160 the size of the real thing. It is approximately 1/2 the size of HO scale and 1/4 the size of the old Lionel trains. The “N” designation came from Europe where the scale originated and denotes “nine millimeters” as the distance between the rails (Gauge).

The Old Boise Model Railroad Club is organized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, recognized by the state of Idaho.
